Life or Death

“Good morning, Tucker.”

“Good morning, mommy. I need to feed the cat.” He’s taken responsibility for Wiley, the outdoor cat.

“Maybe you should hug your mother first.”

(Dramatic sigh.)

“All right. But quick. I don’t want the cat to die.”

That’s fair. Even with this consideration, I feel like you can spare 12 seconds or so.

Somebody, get this kid a pet. He reeks of responsibility.
